Senior Researcher, Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas of the State Concern "Turkmengas"
With over 17 years of experience in environmental consulting for the oil and gas sector, Nabat Muhammedova has played a key role in shaping environmental policies and strategies in Turkmenistan. Since 2006, she has worked with the Natural Gas Research Institute in Ashgabat, where she has contributed to several major environmental projects, including the development of national climate change strategies, environmental impact assessments, and sustainability plans for the oil and gas industry.
Nabat’s work includes leading research on energy efficiency, environmental protection, and regulatory documentation. She has also participated in field research, collecting and analyzing environmental samples, and has been instrumental in the creation of national action plans to protect the Caspian Sea. Her efforts have contributed to stronger environmental policies and regulations, particularly in the energy sector.
Nabat holds a degree in ecology from Turkmen State University and is recognized for her expertise in environmental research and policy development.
