Olga gas 20 years of experience in climate and energy policy development and implementation in the CIS countries. She also has over 10 years of experience in methane emissions monitoring, management and policy design in the oil and gas sector. She has successfully managed methane emissions measurement campaigns in more than 50 gas extraction, processing, compression and storage facilities, including using a combination of manned and unmanned measurement approaches. Olga has built in-depth understanding of methane emission reporting, emission factors, OGMP and IPCC methodologies, and the differences between facility-level and national reporting frameworks. She is currently leading major methane management programmes for natural gas operators in Ukraine and Kazakhstan for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
